Sweep: Changeling

This books intensity level wasnt as high as all the others, but at the same time it was.

Trying to recover from the events that happened in New York, finding a piece of her life that she hates but is curious about (and feels guilty about this curiosity), the things going on between her and Hunter, her grades slipping, trying to save Starlocket, accepting a mission from the council and a very dangerous mission at that... Morgan has a lot on her plate. On the upside, her friendship with Bree is slowly starting to come back together.

The thing that irritated me the most in the this book was people blaming her for her brother's actions, like she controls him. The council asked her to get him there and yet council members are acting like Morgan wanted him there herself! It was just ridiculous.

Morgan learns more about herself, she has questions answered about her mother, she finds out more about being Woodbane and she finds more secrets that Cal had. Cal and his secrets, they're never ending! She discovers just how powerful she can be and she has the decision to choose good or bad. A decision she feels she'll fear she'll fail because of who she is and what she is.

For once in the series, this book didnt give you an unexpected ending. Which was actually nice. Too many unexpected endings in a row can be tiring lol.

Random Question...

Have you ever read a book/series and it got so good and intense that you kinda wanted to stop reading it mid-book or mid-series cause you didnt want to know what happens but then you did at the same time? I hope that made sense lol!

I kinda feel that way now with Sweep. It's getting so intense and Morgan is putting herself in so much danger its like, you wanna know what happens but you dont. You know nothing bad will happen since there's a few more books left in the series, but its just.... ahh! You know?

Sweep: The Calling

The gang spends a weekend in New York; Morgan, Hunter, Sky, Raven, Bree and Robbie after Morgan has a nightmare to find out what her dream was about. And who's magick will be drained? Just as you thought things would go smoothly for once considering Selene and Cal are finally out of the picture, you were wrong. Morgan is a magnet for unfortunate events and this one is no different. You meet new characters, see how seriously Hunter takes his job as a Seeker, find out what's going on in Bree's twisted mind and how she really feels about relationships, how much Sky cares. There wasnt much Wicca in this book, but more of the The Dark Wave. Morgan finds out even more truth about her past (goodness, is there anything else we should know!?) and she doesnt handle it too well. The ending will leave you frustrated, at least, it did for me.

What I love about these books is that you cant help but feel for Morgan. How confused she is, how she's still getting use to this magick she's capable of, her struggle with the loss of Cal and her new found feelings for Hunter. You cant help but sometimes feel like you are Morgan and how frustrating and daring and scary this journey of hers is. The book does a good job for grabbing you until the very last page. Then you find yourself itching to read the next book!

I hope Morgan starts seeing more clearly in the next one!

Sweep: Spellbound

I finally finished Spellbound! This book goes more into Morgan and Hunter's love and hate for each other, you cant help but feel just as confused as Morgan feel's for Hunter. Some speculation as to if Cal is back or not arises in this book and you cant help but keep hoping the whole way through that he hasnt! Morgan learns a little more about her mother and Hunter see's his father. The Darkness is still lurking and Selene is trying other ways to defeat Morgan without being near her. Morgan also expands her knowledge thanks to Alyce.

This book was such a blur, the whole time I was rooting for Hunter! But goodness he can be so stubborn as can Morgan.

Once again, the ending was NOT what I was expecting, at all!!

Sweep: Awakening

The fifth book in the Sweep series.

Morgan tries to recover from the events in the last book, with Cal and Selene leaving and with turning to Sky and Hunter. Hunter taking over Cal's coven and all these drastic changes being made in her life almost over night.

There isnt much talk about her other friends in this book. Mostly about her love/hate friendship with Hunter and how he just seems to be everywhere she is. It talks more about her Aunt's gay relationship and about Practical Magick. It also shows what Hunter's powers are as a seeker.

The cliffhanger at the end was one I wasnt expecting, but hoping for!

Marked By P.C Cast and Kristin Cast (Book #1 in the Series the House Of Night)

Here we go with my first book review or what ever. This book is simply breath taking. I am just sadly zooming through the Casts' series of the house of night. This book was the beginning the one that started the adventure of a teenage vampyre. the Casts' are unique with how vamps come to be. I like their idea. It's not the gloom and doom of kill and give blood to turn a human it's simply if the goddess of night Nyx chooses you to be a vamp she shall mark you with a unique moon design on your forehead. It's always been a saphire design. Th main Character of the book is Zoey Redbird, who turns out to be really really important for the house of night. Also in this book it is when she transitions from being in the human world and sleeping during the day and going to school at night. Not everyone marked though becomes a vamp. they start as fledlings learning what its like to be a vampyre But if they don't make it through the change from a fledging to a vamp they in vivid description choke on thier blood.
Basically if you like adventure in your head, stories you wish would just randomly come to life Marked is a great book to pick up. It's not a typically vampyre book and NO it's not something to read just to compare to Twilight.
I am excited to finish this book series but i dont want to either just because i know i wont have it to read without knowing whats going to happen.
